2.5 Meter Blown Film Start-Up in Guatemala
POLYSTAR has successfully started up the 2500 mm (98”) wide LDPE blown film line in Guatemala. The new POLYSTAR line has a production capacity up to 250kg per hour.
The machine is currently producing different film width/ thickness from 1.5 ~ 2.4 meter film in 35~112 microns. The producer is using approximately 70% LDPE and 30% LLDPE in the mixture and converts the film rolls into different types of end products.
POLYSTAR will install three more extruders with 1.7 meter roller width for producing jumbo rolls in Mexico in the following months.
