Choosing the Suitable Blown Film Machine for Small Film Width

Introduce the types of blown film machines

When producing monolayer plastic film with a width of 800mm or less, manufacturers have a high degree of flexibility in selecting the machine features they desire. These smaller film sizes are commonly utilized for various types of bags, such as t-shirt bags, shopping bags, bottom-sealing flat bags, and supermarket bags.

POLYSTAR offers two different machine types for producers to choose from: a Mini-type blown film machine (Simple-X) or a Twin-head blown film machine (Duo-X).

Both of these extruders are capable of producing small-width plastic film made from HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, recycled, or biodegradable materials.

Manufacturing film rolls with smaller widths can serve as an accessible entry point for producers who are new to the business, allowing them to commence their production operations. Additionally, sizes under 800mm are frequently adopted by producers who are transitioning their bag production from outsourced to in-house.
